final exhibition at the Art Department in Shenkar
July 2019, Tel-Aviv
Painting exhibition, some in the classic form of oil on stretched canvas and some of the large wood panel used in the exhibition as sliding walls, from experience and elaboration to the process that the painting goes from the studio out. The connection and disconnect between them and within them are felt and a central part of the work process on the project. The central image that recurs in all paintings is an interior space of a room, sometimes a gallery, sometimes a home, sometimes an undefined one. The painting begins to be born within the unscheduled room and does not rely on techniques of optical illusion such as light and shadow, depth and perspective, the room adapts itself to the 2D on which it is painted, the colors change, the perspective changes and the images and colors are created one after the other. I paint an indeterminate place within which images are undefined, out of my definition I created a language and place within the wonderful world of painting
